2019 Small Works of Oil & Cold Wax

These little gems of color and texture are oil and cold wax on paper, normally Arches 140# Oil Paper. On rigid surfaces, oil and cold wax don’t have to be behind glass but these small papers would be vulnerable to damage without their protective frames.  For that reason, the frames are shown in the photos; the frames, of course, are changeable.

In 2019 I got a grant from the Greater Columbus Arts Council to use metal leaf. When mixed with oil & cold wax, the effect is stunning.  Those pieces start at the bottom of this page.  Check them out.  They have been finished with a coat of resin. Earlier small works can be found here.

Paintings without a location are still being hung but available on request. Paintings marked “NA” are no longer available.
